blog #2 A Thunderous Sneeze

A sneeze destroyed an empire? Those years, I became that immobile “rusty armored man” in the kingdom.

Hello, dear friends! Welcome to our podcast. Last time, we talked about how to reclaim control of your body through a moisturizer. Today, I want to take you back to “Animal Kingdom” to hear about the cat L wearing a lion’s head mask and the great earthquake that struck the kingdom.

Introduction: Animal Kingdom and the Curse of the “Rusty Iron Man”

In the beautiful “Animal Kingdom,” the kingdom’s explorer cat, L, was always the most lively and energetic defense captain. Until one sunny morning, while chasing a butterfly, L suddenly inhaled a grain of pollen and couldn’t help but let out a thunderous “Achoo!”

In that instant, disaster struck. L felt a violent throbbing behind him, and the cat froze in place, unable to move even a toe! It struggled to breathe, and it took a full five minutes before it could move its feet very slowly and stiffly, like a rusty robot.

Over the next few days, L became the kingdom’s most famous tourist attraction—the “Rusty Iron Man.” Its head could no longer turn to the side independently; if someone called it from the right, it had to clumsily turn its entire body to look. If it sat in a chair for too long, it couldn’t stand up anymore and had to pat its lower back repeatedly with its paws for several minutes before it could barely straighten up. It walked as slowly as a snail, because every step triggered an alarm in its back.

When L’s wife and daughter saw its appearance, instead of feeling sorry for it, they laughed heartily around it, saying, “Haha, the famous explorer has turned into an uncle cat!”

The most terrifying thing about this curse is that whenever L finally thinks he has recovered, the same violent tics will recur without warning after about two to three months. Sometimes the tics are triggered by a turn, sometimes by bending over, and sometimes by a sneeze. The king looked at the defense captain and was anxious to send someone to ask the distant “angel” for help, but this time, L shook his head and decided to be his own antidote.

Wait a minute, is your body also “rusting and sending out warning signals”?

Dear friend, after listening to L’s story, did you suddenly feel a slight pain in your lower back after laughing?

To be honest, this immobile “rusty armored man” is a true reflection of myself about 5 years ago, when I was in my 40s.

Back then, a simple sneeze triggered severe lower back and back pain. I endured that stiffness, inability to stand up immediately, the need to pat myself to relax before walking, and the pain of having to turn my whole body to turn around for two whole years, during which time it would recur every two or three months. Whenever I moved slowly around the living room with my back bent and my stiff body hunched over, my wife and daughter would jokingly call me “Uncle”.

But during this painful cycle of two whole years, I have never seen a doctor.

Why? Because my main job happens to be closely related to medical institutions. Every day, I see hundreds, even thousands, of patients in medical institutions who come to the doctor for back pain, take painkillers, and are scheduled for physical therapy. I know all too well the tricks of the trade, and the even crueler truth is: of all the patients around me who undergo physical therapy, almost none of them are truly cured or recovered.

Does this mean that physical therapy techniques are ineffective? No. As someone in the medical field, I see it very clearly: physical therapy can relieve immediate pain, but it can only be “occasionally scheduled,” not become your “daily habit.”

When you only spend one hour a week in the hospital for treatment, and the remaining 167 hours are spent maintaining incorrect posture and stiff muscles, how can your body’s kingdom not continue to rust?

From Psychology to Physiology—Understanding “Dependency Mindset” and the “Cumulative Effect”

To completely get rid of back pain, we must first clarify one mindset: do not outsource the responsibility for your health to a doctor or therapist you only see once a week.

The biggest misconception among modern people is that “I paid to see a doctor, so my health should be better.” This is a lazy, dependent mentality.

From a physiological perspective, the essence of lower back pain is not a sneeze, but rather the “final burst” of stress accumulated over the past few years, or even decades, due to muscle imbalances and fascia tension. A sneeze is just the last straw.

Painkillers and medical equipment used in medical institutions are like applying a little lubricant to a rusty armored vehicle, making you feel more comfortable in the short term. But to truly restore joint flexibility and muscle elasticity, it requires “small, cumulative efforts every day.” This is why only by making “self-help” a daily habit can the body have a chance for complete recovery.

Find the key solution—a 10-minute “defense system upgrade”

Having seen through this truth, I decided to experiment on myself. I tested various stretching exercises on my own, and very patiently tested only one exercise at a time, doing it for half a month, to observe the real feedback from my body.

Under such rigorous testing, I finally found that one “key movement” that precisely unlocked my back and waist shackles!

I still maintain my habit of stretching for 10 minutes every day (this has always been my routine), but I’ve added the exercise that I successfully tested to my routine—Do exactly 9 reps on the left and 9 reps on the right every day, no more, no less.

And just like that, a miracle happened. The deadly back pain that had plagued me for two years, turning me into an old man every two or three months, completely disappeared and never recurred! My body regained its lightness and dominance.

Conclusion: Don’t let your kingdom be defeated by a sneeze!

Dear friend, is your lower back currently sending you warning signals of tightness and soreness? Remember, a doctor can give you painkillers, but they can’t give you a body that won’t rust. Only by spending just 10 minutes each day stretching and maintaining your muscles and fascia, like polishing a sword, can you truly become the wise king of your own kingdom.

I appreciate that you’ve read this far; it means you’ve already mastered the wisdom to break free from the vicious cycle of “taking medicine when it hurts, and then the pain returns.” You don’t need to spend a lot of money; all you need is the right action and unwavering determination.
