A strange flower grew on the sole of my foot? That year, a moisturizing cream given to me by the third doctor awakened the kingdom of my body.
Hello, dear friend! It’s great to have you here. This is the first episode of our podcast, and the starting point for us to help you take back control of your body’s kingdom.
Before we get to today’s topic, I’d like to take you back to “Animal Kingdom” and listen to a fable that sounds a bit absurd but plays out around us every day.
Introduction: The absurd deal between the animal kingdom and “angels”
In the beautiful “Animal Kingdom,” the citizens adore animals. One day, the kingdom’s explorer—a kitten named L wearing a lion’s head mask—suddenly developed a strange parasitic plant on its paw. This plant caused L to itch so badly that it rolled around on the ground, and the entire kingdom’s citizens felt sorry for and anxious about it.
Without hesitation, the king immediately took generous tributes and went to seek help from the “angel” who was said to be omnipotent in a distant tower.
The angel accepted the offering, smiled slightly, and gave the king a bottle of “miracle water,” saying, “Pour it onto the parasitic plant, and the strange phenomenon will disappear immediately.”
The king was overjoyed and rushed back to the kingdom to pour the magic water onto L’s feet. Wow! A miracle happened; the strange flower withered, and L’s itching stopped. The king and the people cheered loudly, praising the greatness of the angel.
But the good times didn’t last long. Just a few days later, the strange flower not only grew back, but it even spread to between L’s toes! The king panicked and ran to the second angel, exchanging it for a more expensive “powerful elixir.” The result was exactly the same—it helped a little at first, but soon the strange flower grew even more luxuriantly and became even more maddening.
When the king, in a fit of rage and near despair, knocked on the door of the third angel, this angel, seated on a high chair, didn’t even bother to look at L’s feet covered in strange flowers. He merely glanced at L’s back out of the corner of his eye before waving his hand to signal his servant to escort the king out.
Finally, the servant handed the king a very ordinary little bottle at the door. The king opened it and nearly vomited blood – inside was just a tiny bit of ordinary “moisturizing cream” for applying to the skin!
At that moment, the king stood beneath the tower, looking at the useless lotion in his hand, the cold wind blowing, and his raging anger suddenly cooled. He began to ponder a question he had never doubted before:“Every time I see a problem, all I know is to offer sacrifices to angels and ask for miracle water to suppress the symptoms. But can this strange flower really be cured by external miracle water?”
Wait a minute, are you also relying on a “celestial being” from afar?
Dear friend, after hearing this story, do you feel sorry for the king and think the third angel was irresponsible?
But to be honest, this story is actually a true experience of mine about 20 years ago.
I was a sickly child from a young age, and in my childhood memories, getting sick and seeing a doctor was the most natural thing in the world. Whenever I felt unwell, my mother would take me to the doctor, and I never doubted that there was anything wrong with this pattern. Until about 20 years ago, I suddenly developed an extremely stubborn athlete’s foot that made me unbearably itchy.
Like the king in the story, I saw two doctors and obediently followed their instructions to apply the ointment and take the medicine, completing the entire treatment. And the result? The athlete’s foot only stopped itching slightly at first, but then it spread wildly, even reaching the crevices of my toes!
Out of desperation, I saw a third doctor. That doctor didn’t even bother to examine the truly itchy soles and toes; his gaze merely swept coldly over the back of my feet before telling me to leave the doctor’s room and wait for my medication. Finally, when the nurse handed me that small tube of ordinary “moisturizing cream,” my anger and sense of absurdity exploded instantly!
But after I calmed down, this moisturizing balm became the most important turning point in my life. It was like a wake-up call, waking me up:“I see doctors, take medicine, and apply ointments, just hoping for a temporary respite to calm my symptoms. If I don’t change how I treat my body, will I be a slave to medication for the rest of my life?”
This stubborn skin disease became the great starting point for me to solve all my subsequent health problems entirely on my own through “self-help”.
From Psychology to Physiology—Understanding the Truth Behind the Alarm Signs of “Symptoms”
To reclaim control of the body’s kingdom, we must first break a deep-seated psychological myth: symptoms are not your enemy.
When we experience itchy skin, headaches, acid reflux, or high blood pressure, our first reaction is often anxiety and fear, followed by an eagerness to find a doctor and get medication to “eliminate” these symptoms. This is as absurd as a kingdom alarm going off, and instead of looking for the fire, we complain that the alarm is too noisy and smashing it with a hammer.
From a physiological perspective, when I develop an athlete’s foot and itches constantly, it’s actually my body sending me a frantic SOS signal:“Your Majesty! The body’s internal environment is out of balance! There are too many toxins! The immune defenses are almost overwhelmed!”
The ointments and antifungal medications prescribed by doctors are indeed remarkable; they act like powerful “firefighting teams,” helping to suppress the fire during the acute phase. However, doctors cannot change the constitution of your kingdom. If you continue to stay up late, continue to eat processed foods high in sugar and fat, and continue to allow your body to remain in a state of chronic inflammation, it’s tantamount to calling in firefighters to put out fires while simultaneously setting fires throughout the kingdom.
The reason why the fungus (strange flower) grew wildly on the soles of my feet was not because I applied too little of any special medicine, but because I created a perfect “breeding ground” for it to grow.To control floods, we must address their source; to save ourselves, we must begin by changing our internal environment.
The starting point for self-rescue—activating the best doctors within your body
Now, I want to share the best secret in the world with you:Your body is the best doctor in the world!
Whether it’s the self-healing of skin wounds, the recovery from a cold, or the rebalancing of the internal immune system, it all essentially relies on your body’s powerful “self-healing system.” And activating this system doesn’t require any exorbitant costs; it’s a completely new path of “following nature”:
Back then, I understood this point and decided to stop blindly relying on external help. I started to listen carefully to my body and adjust my diet, sleep, and mindset. A miracle happened then—the athlete’s foot that had tormented me for so long, and which three doctors couldn’t cure, completely healed itself without me even realizing it, after my body’s environment improved!
Conclusion: Reclaim the scepter, and you will be the king of your own kingdom!
Dear friend, after reading this, do you also feel a sense of sudden enlightenment?
The healthy, energetic, and long-lived grandparents in the world are usually not because they found some miracle doctor, but because they know how to follow nature, not blindly rely on drugs, and take care of their bodies wholeheartedly.
Your body is the most loyal and loving territory in the world. Its past responses—excess fat, migraines, skin diseases, or chronic fatigue—were not punishments, but rather honest reminders:It’s time for a change.
In this journey to health, you are the sole king of your body’s kingdom. No one else (including the most skilled doctor) is qualified or capable of taking full responsibility for your life.
I greatly appreciate that you listened to and read the entire first episode. This means you’ve taken the most difficult yet greatest step—Reverse your mindset and decide to take full responsibility for your health.
